Client review links
Let a client approve posts, or look at the calendar, from a link, with no account and no seat.
Creating a link
- Open Settings, then Team, and find Client review links. Or press Cmd K and type "review link".
- Name the client, so you can tell links apart later.
- Choose what they can do: approve posts waiting for approval, or only look at what is scheduled from today on.
- Choose which accounts it covers: every account, or one account group so the client sees only their own posts.
- Choose when it stops working: a week, two weeks, thirty days or ninety days, which is the longest.
- Copy the link and send it to the client.
How a post waits for the client
- Write the post and press Send for approval on it, exactly as for approval inside the team.
- The client opens the link. Posts waiting for approval appear there, with their media and the time they go out.
- The client enters their name and presses approve, or sends the post back with a comment.
- An approved post goes into the queue at its time. A post sent back returns to your drafts with the client's comment, and the team is notified either way.
Good to know
Whoever holds the link can use it, so treat it like a key. Switch a link off at any time: the next time the client opens it or presses a button, they read that it was switched off, and decisions already made stay as they are.
A link stops working if the person who created it is no longer an owner or admin. Creating links is an owner or admin job.
