Importing posts from a CSV file

The columns

The first row names the columns. caption, accounts and date are required. time, media_url, status and labels are optional. The dialog offers a template with every column in place.

Write the date as 2026-10-05 and the time on the 24-hour clock as 09:30, in its own column. A date like 05/10/2026 is refused, because it means different days in different countries. A full timestamp with an offset, such as 2026-10-05T09:30:00+02:00, also works. Times without an offset are on the workspace clock.

status is draft or scheduled, and scheduled when left empty.

The accounts column

Name each account as network:handle, for example instagram:yourhandle. The network's name works as the prefix, and several accounts go in one cell. If a name matches more than one of your accounts, the dialog shows a picker on that row so you choose which one you mean.

If a row's accounts cell is empty, the dialog asks which connected accounts those rows go to.

Importing

1. Open Publish and press Import CSV.
2. Pick the file. Every row is checked before anything is created, including each network's character limit.
3. Fix any row the dialog flags, in the dialog or in the file.
4. Import. Each row becomes a post.
