planning your calendar

Recurring posts

Repeat a scheduled post every few days or weeks, on the weekdays you choose, until a count or a date.

Setting a post to repeat

  1. Schedule the post first, then open it from Publish or the calendar.
  2. Under Repeat this post, choose every how many days or weeks, and for weeks, which weekdays. The day of this post is always included.
  3. Choose how it ends: after a number of posts, counting this one, or on a last date.
  4. Save. The repeats due in the next two weeks appear on the calendar straight away.

How repeats behave

Every repeat is a real post, created two weeks before its time as a copy of the first post. Editing the first post changes repeats not yet on the calendar. Repeats already on the calendar keep what they say, and editing one of them changes that post only.

The time of day stays the same on the workspace clock, including across daylight saving changes. Each repeat counts towards your plan's monthly posts when it is created. If a repeat cannot be created, the reason is written on the series and you are notified once.

If the first post needed approval, every repeat waits for its own approval.

Stopping a series removes the upcoming repeats.

Where it is not offered

X, Reddit and TikTok posts cannot repeat, and the form says why. On Instagram the form warns that repeating the same post can reduce its reach.
