Options for each network

Reels, Stories, boards, titles, reply controls, collaborators and the other settings one network has and the rest do not.

Where the options are

When you tick an account in the composer, the options that belong to its network appear under it. Every option has a default that matches what the network does on its own, so you only change what you mean to.

Instagram

Choose where a post goes: the feed, Reels or a Story. A Reel can also be shared to the feed or kept to the Reels tab. For a Reel you can pick a cover, either a frame from the video or a picture from your library, and you can invite up to three collaborators.

Facebook

Choose between a feed post, a Reel and a Story.

TikTok

Choose who can see the video, whether others may comment, duet or stitch, and whether the post promotes your own brand or somebody else's as branded content. Nothing is ticked for you. For a video you can also pick the cover frame.

YouTube

Type a title, or leave it blank and one is taken from the caption. You can add tags, choose whether subscribers are notified, and add the video to one of your playlists after it uploads.

Pinterest

Choose the board, a title, where a tap on the Pin sends somebody, and alt text describing the picture.

Threads, X and Mastodon

On Threads and X you choose who can reply. On Mastodon you choose the post's visibility and can add a content warning, which hides the text behind a Show more button.
