Version history and restoring a post

While you write

Each caption box in the composer has Undo, Redo and a Versions list. The list holds the original text, every AI rewrite with what it was asked to do, and your own edits in between. Press Use this on any version to put it back in the box. Undo moves between versions and never deletes one.

After a post is saved

1. Open the post from Publish or the calendar.
2. Open Version history. Each entry says who changed the post and how: an edit, an AI rewrite or a restore.
3. Open an entry to see the fields that changed, side by side.
4. Press Restore this version to put those words back.

Good to know

History covers the words on a post: the caption, the first comment, titles, alt text, a content warning and thread parts. Changing a label does not create a version. The latest 50 versions of each post are kept.

Restoring is an edit, so it clears an approval the post had, and the dialog asks you to confirm first. Only owners and admins can restore. A published post shows its history and cannot be restored.
